Iv been so tired.... mentally and physically. There's gonna be yet another move....We don't have much time. My husband's being transferred back to penang, malaysia. Well, the good thing is we have family there. The bad thing is that there's so much to do and so little time. But in the end its Bye bye KL!!
Iv personally enjoyed every bit of my stay here. Im sure you all agree that its the best feeling living by yourself, living by your rules....with nobody's interference...especially when your not under 'the mother in laws' watchful eye!!!
Well...sigh! The bright side is, maybe I wont get so exhausted when I go back to penang as my mil can help me take care of aaliya. So there.....iv learnt to look at the positive side!
Im so grateful to my husband at the moment for taking a few days off from work and help me at home with all the moving and aaliya as well. Yesterday, I packed a little snack for "aali "and sent them both to the birdpark!! Oh my!!it was perfect....I felt like a little girl being given a lollipop after such a long time...hahhaa........took out the ipad, got some coffee, some 'murukku', put my feet up and started to play "scrabble". THIS IS LIFE!
Today I thought id share this recipe for my stirfry. Its the best way to get my husband eat his veggies!....we simply love it!!
1/2 onion, chopped finely
1 tsp, ginger- garlic paste
12 small brocoli florets
1/2 red pepper
1/2 yellow pepper
15 nos.white button mushrooms
10 nos. baby corns
2 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp soya sauce
100 ml water
- heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and saute till softened.
- add the ginger garlic paste and stir.
- add the brocoli and stir for a min.
- add the capsicum and baby corn and saute for a min.
- add the mushrooms.
- add the sauces and a bit of pepper and cook for a few mins
- add the water and let the veggies cook.
